Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to male and female high school students who participate in the Iowa Games and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to students currently enrolled as juniors at high schools in Iowa.

Applicants must have participated in events sponsored by the Iowa Sports Foundation (summer and winter Iowa Games, Net Fest, Hoopin' at the Dome, Mud Run, Glow Run 5K, or Fish Iowa! Games).

Males and females are judged separately.

Selection is based on the essay, academic achievement, participation in Iowa Sports Foundation events, athletic accomplishments, and school and community volunteer service.
