The Burton Family Foundation Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors at high schools in Maricopa County, Arizona. Students who have been enrolled in a college readiness program and are planning to attend a public institution in Arizona are welcome to apply.

Graduating senior from a high school in Maricopa County, Arizona

Participation in an AVID program (minimum of 3 years) or a program of Be A Leader Foundation, GEAR UP, TRIO, TRIO Upward Bound, AGUILA, or Si Se Puede

Planning to attend Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, or an Arizona community college

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student

Demonstrate a commitment to higher education despite personal/financial obstacles
