The Burton Scholarship is open to students enrolled at least part-time at any of the schools in the Alamo Colleges District. Students at Northeast Lakeview College receive special consideration. Graduates of a high school in the Comal or New Braunfels Independent School District are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum GPA 2.0 for incoming students or 2.5 for continuing students
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Attending any of the colleges in the Alamos College District (Northwest Vista, Palo Alto, San Antonio, St. Philip's)
  • Graduate of a high school in the Comal or New Braunfels ISD of Texas
  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree
  • Enrolled in at least 6 credits
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students at Northeast Lakeview College in the Alamos College District.
