Requirements
  • This program is open to students working on an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree at a college or university in British Columbia or Washington.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in a field related to fisheries or aquatic science.
  • Graduate students must be members of the WashingtonBritish Columbia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), although membership is not required for undergraduates.
  • The proposed research of graduate students is evaluated in categories of significance, investigator profile, innovation, approach, and application to the environment.
  • Status as a U.S. citizen, Canadian citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. resident alien expecting citizenship by the date of the award is required.
