Cady McDonnell Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance for undergraduate study in surveying to female members of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) from designated western states.

Requirements

This program is open to women who are NSPS members and enrolled full or part-time at a 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.

Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.

They must be majoring in surveying or a closelyrelated program (e.g., mapping, surveying engineering, geographic information systems, geodetic science).

Selection is based on that statement (30%), academic record (30%), letters of recommendation (20%), and professional activities (20%); if 2 or more applicants are judged equal based on those criteria, financial need might be considered.
