The California Academy Foundation Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to minorities from California who are members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and interested in additional training at a school in any state.

Requirements

Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Resident of California.

American Indian/Native American, Pacific Islander, African American, Asian, or male.

Entering the first or second year of an accredited Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) program; **or**

Entering the second year of a Coordinated Program (CP) in dietetics, an accredited graduate program, or a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD); **or**

Accepted to an accredited Supervised Practice Program beginning within 6 months.

Member of AND.

U.S. citizen.

Participate in volunteer, extracurricular, and work activities.

Demonstrate financial need.
