California Coastal Chapter API Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties in California who are sponsored by a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties and graduates of those high schools currently enrolled at a college, university, junior college, or trade/technical school in any state.

Applicants must be sponsored by a current API member.

Selection is based on that essay, transcripts, 2 letters of recommendation in addition to that of their sponsor, a list of school and community activities, and any special circumstances.
