Requirements

This program is open to residents of California at 2- and 4-year colleges and universities in the state who are currently enrolled in at least 6 credits and are majoring or planning to major in a field related to horticulture (e.g., agribusiness, viticulture, pomology).

Applicants must submit essays on their educational objectives and their occupational goals as they relate to horticulture.

Selection is based on those essays, transcripts, high school and college activities related to horticulture, work experience, community activities related to horticulture, and 2 letters of reference.

Financial need is not considered.
