Carl Parsell Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Michigan Association of Police (MAP), Michigan Association of Public Employees (MAPE), and Michigan Association of Fire Fighters (MAFF) and their families who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Michigan who are members of MAP, MAPE, or MAFF or families of those members.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school in any state.

Selection is based on academic achievement and potential, character, leadership, social awareness, career goals, will succeed, public service and community involvement, and financial need.
