The Catalino Tapia Scholarship provides financial assistance to underserved and underrepresented residents of the San Francisco Bay area who are interested in attending college in any state. Students enrolling in a field of STEM receive special consideration.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA.

Resident of Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, or Santa Clara counties in California.

Graduating high school senior, GED recipient, community college student transferring to a 4year university, AB540 recipient, undocumented, or student currently enrolled at a college or university on a full- or part-time basis.

Firstgeneration student.

Member of a lowincome, underserved, or underrepresented group.

Completed at least 10 hours of volunteer service for the foundation.

Demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students enrolling in a field of STEM.
