The CCA Allied Industry Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the California Cattlemen's Association (CCA) who are attending college to prepare for a career in the beef industry.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and students currently enrolled full-time at a junior college, 4-year college, university, or law school in California and working on an undergraduate, master's, law, or veterinary degree.

Applicants must be young, regular, or feeder members of the CCA; they must be Young Cattlemen members.

They must be preparing for a career associated with the beef cattle industry, including production, genetics, nutrition, trade, law, agricultural communications, agricultural education, professional services, marketing, and lending.

Selection is based on that statement, academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or higher), and other activities.

An interview may be required.
