The CDA Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of California interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to wildlife conservation at a college.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of California who are high school seniors or students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be working on or planning to work full time on a degree in a wildliferelated field, including agriculture, animal and wildlife husbandry, forestry, rangeland science, resource management, or veterinary science.
  • They must be related to or recommended by a member of the California Deer Association (CDA).
  • Selection is based on those statements, academic excellence, major field of study, letters of recommendation, leadership qualities, and a personal interview.
