CESDA Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Colorado who are planning to attend college in the state and are either first-generation college students or members of underrepresented ethnic or racial minorities.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Colorado who are 1) the first member of their family to attend college; 2) a student of color (African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, American Indian, Hispanic/Chicano/Latino); and/or 3) able to demonstrate financial need.

Applicants must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher and be planning to enroll at a 2 or 4-year college or university in Colorado.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is not required.

Selection is based on leadership and community service (particularly within minority communities), past academic performance, personal and professional accomplishments, personal attributes, special abilities, academic goals, and financial need.
