Requirements

This program is open to students from any state who are attending school in Santa Barbara or Ventura counties in California.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accounting program at a 4year college or university, a community college with plans to transfer to a 4-year institution, or an extension program with 20 units completed and working on a certificate of accounting.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in accounting classes and in all college coursework.

Selection is based on an essay on their interest in an accounting career, any special recognitions, extracurricular activities, 2 letters of recommendation, and an autobiography that includes any special or unique circumstances (including financial) that they believe qualify them for this scholarship.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
