Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors planning to enroll at a 4-year college or university in Wisconsin and current undergraduates already enrolled at such an institution.

Applicants must be seeking a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

First preference is given to members of Chapter 4 (Milwaukee) of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), their spouses, children, or grandchildren.

Second preference is given to residents of the following Wisconsin counties: Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, or Waukesha.

Third preference is given to residents of Wisconsin.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process unless 2 or more applicants have equal qualifications.

U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status, or student visa is required.
