The Charlie Burkart Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors from Iowa and western Illinois who have an affiliation with golf and plan to attend college.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Iowa and those portions of western Illinois that are part of the Iowa Section PGA (including the cities of Monmouth, Macomb, Galesburg, Moline, Rock Island, Kewanee, and Galena, but not the cities of Freeport, Springfield, or Quincy).

Applicants must be planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university.

Selection is based first on interest and activity in golf and the potential for future contributions, then on academic ability and financial need.
