Requirements
  • This program is open to citizens of the Cherokee Nation who are attending or planning to attend a college or university.
  • Applicants must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher and fulfill community service requirements.
  • There are no residency requirements, but applicants who live outside the Cherokee nation area, defined as those counties within and contiguous to the Cherokee Nation boundaries, must qualify for the federal Pell Grant through their FAFSA.
