Requirements

This competition is open to women of Hispanic descent who have been residents of Colorado for at least 6 months and are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.

Applicants must be between 18 and 22 years of age and enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university in Colorado.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

During the Colorado State Fair Fiesta in June, they participate in the Queen Pageant, with the Queen and Attendants selected on the basis of personal interviews (30%), a 2 to 4-minute speech (30%), talent (20%), evening gown (10%), and an impromptu question (10%).
