Requirements

This program is open to spouses and children of active-duty, Reserve, or retired military personnel who are attached or assigned to Fort Benning or who reside in the Tri-Community area (Columbus/Fort Benning/Phenix City).

Applicants may be traditional students (high school seniors or current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll full or parttime at a college or university in any state) or continuing education students (who have taken a break in their education and are now continuing).

Selection is based on that essay, academic record (including SAT scores for traditional students), community and school involvement, leadership positions held, awards and honors received, and recommendations.
