Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Higher Education Scholarship provide financial assistance to members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to enrolled members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes who are attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.

Assistance is available to students in the following priority order: 1) continuing students in good standing; 2) new students who have never received tribal higher education funding; 3) returning students who have taken a break from school for 1 or more quarters or semesters, and 4) noneed students.

A small fund is set aside for graduate students.
