Connecticut Education Foundation Scholarship for Ethnic Minority High School Students provides financial assistance to minority high school seniors in Connecticut who are interested in attending college in the state to prepare for a teaching career.

Requirements
  • This program is open to minority seniors (Blacks, Native Americans or Alaskan Natives, Asian or Pacific Islanders, and Hispanics or Latinos) graduating from high schools in Connecticut.
  • Applicants have been accepted at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in the state and be planning to enter the teaching profession.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Finalists may be interviewed.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
