Connecticut Junior Accounting Scholarship provides financial assistance to student members of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) who are entering their junior year.

Requirements
  • This program is open to student CTCPA members who are currently enrolled as full-time sophomores at a 2- or 4-year college or university and planning to enter their junior year.
  • Applicants must be residents of Connecticut and/or attending or transferring to an accredited 4year college or university in that state.
  • They must have completed at least 6 units of accounting coursework with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be planning to obtain a bachelor's degree in accounting and pursue C.P.A. licensure.
  • Selection is based on academic ability, leadership and service, a resume, an essay on an assigned topic, an overall presentation of self, and demonstrating a commitment to the accounting profession.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
