Requirements

This program is open to sophomores or juniors at 4-year colleges who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Applicants must be majoring in education, food science, marketing, nutrition (human), public relations, journalism, or social media and communications.

Selection is based on academic standing; leadership ability and extracurricular activities; leadership, education, nutrition, communications and/or social media skills; activities or experiences related to the dairy industry; and a 500word essay on the reasons for their interest in the dairy industry, including their plans for the future.
