The David J. Lewandowski Memorial Award program is available to graduating seniors from Dunkirk, Forestville, or Fredonia high schools in New York. Applicants should be planning to pursue a technical certification in trades. Recipients are chosen for their positive, caring attitude, and potential for success in their field. Special consideration may be given to those who have volunteered or worked in the community during their high school career, and those interested in air conditioning, carpentry, electrical, heating, masonry, or plumbing; strong consideration will be given to those interested in other trades, such as agriculture, conservation, emergency services, or forestry.
