DCNNOA Scholarship provides financial assistance to minority high school seniors from the Washington, D.C. area who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to minority seniors graduating from high schools in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area who plan to enroll full-time at an accredited 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must submit transcripts that include ACT/SAT scores; a list of extracurricular activities, community service, academic honors, and positions of leadership; 2 letters of recommendation; and documentation of financial need.
  • Special consideration is given to applicants who may qualify for specialized scholarships if they are a foster child, an Eagle Scout, a member of a STEM organization, interested in applying for a competitive STEM internship, a member of a Junior ROTC program, a person with a disability, planning to attend an HBCU, or planning to enroll in a Navy ROTC unit.
