Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Delaware where at least 1 administrator is a member of the Delaware Association of School Administrators (DASA).

Applicants must submit an essay (from 300 to 500 words) on "Why I Chose Education as My Career Field." They must be planning to major in education at a college or university in any state.

Selection is based on a realistic understanding of the challenges of working in education; personal commitment to the field; and the essay's originality, clarity, the force of expression, and overall effect.
