Department of Nebraska, VFW #2 Nuts and Bolts Scholarship provide financial assistance to members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the VFW Auxiliary, and their families in designated communities in Nebraska who wish to attend college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the Nebraska chapter of the VFW, the VFW Auxiliary, and their spouses, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren.

Applicants must have completed at least 1 year of fulltime study at a college or university in the state.

They must be able to demonstrate financial need.

First consideration is given to members of VFW Post 8334 in Millard; if no applications are received for members of that Post, then members of VFW Nebraska District 10 are eligible; if no applications are received for members in that district, then the scholarship is available to all Nebraska VFW members and their families.
