Dexter/USBC All-American Team Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with college scholarships, high school students who are affiliated with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and are selected for its All-American Team.

Requirements

This program is open to high school students who participate on a high school bowling team that has USBC membership or is registered in the Coaches Registration Program.

Candidates must be nominated by their high school coach or athletic director.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nominees must submit a 500word essay on the life lesson they have learned through high school bowling.

Selection is based on the essay, bowling accomplishments in the current school year, academic achievement, recommendations, extracurricular and community involvement, and a resume.

The student chosen as the team captain receives the Bud Clappsaddle Team Captain Award.

Nominees must submit a fee of $20 along with their application.
