Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer Scholarship provide financial assistance to student members of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

Requirements

This program is open to AIChE student members who are undergraduates in chemical engineering.

Each student chapter adviser may nominate 1 student member.

Nominees must have completed approximately half of their degree requirements at the start of the academic year (i.e., junior standing in a 4year program or equivalent for a 5-year co-op program).

They must submit a 300word statement outlining their career plans and objectives in chemical engineering.

Selection is based on that statement, academic record, support of the nominee by the student chapter adviser, and involvement in the student chapter and other professional activities.
