Requirements

This program is open to residents of New Mexico who are majoring in print journalism, broadcasting, photojournalism, public relations, communications, or advertising at a college or university in the state.

Applicants must submit 3 samples of their work, a letter of recommendation, and a 500word description of their career goals and plans and why they are applying for this scholarship.

Selection is based primarily on career potential and financial need, although academic standing is also considered.
