The Dorothy Swanson Lewis Memorial Scholarship is offered to graduating seniors residing in the geographical area of the Bertrand Public Schools district or a graduate of Bertrand School District in Nebraska. Students are expected to earn a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree. High school seniors will be given special consideration.

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree as a fulltime student Preference is given to high school seniors pursuing degrees in the following order: registered nurse (RN), medical science field, or education.
