The Dr. Roman Zaplitny Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or graduates from the Battle Creek Area Math & Science Center in Battle Creek, Michigan who plan to pursue or are pursuing a career in medicine. Students who demonstrate merit through academic achievement, commitment, and motivation to have a career in medicine are welcome to apply. If no students from Battle Creek Area Math & Science Center qualify, then a student from St. Philip Catholic Central High School in Battle Creek, Michigan may be selected.
