The D.W. Steele Chapter AFA STEM Scholarship provides financial assistance to Air Force personnel and their families from the greater Washington, D.C. area who are interested in attending college in any state to major in a field of STEM.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) members of the Air Force (Active, Guard, or Reserve, RTOC, JROTC, and CAP) assigned to the greater Washington, D.C. area who are also members of the Air Force Association; and 2) their spouses and children.
  • Applicants must be enrolled to planning to enroll at a college or university.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and community involvement.
