The Dwayne “Nakila” Steele Scholarship is awarded to full-time students with financial need who demonstrate a commitment to contributing to the greater community. Students with an interest in the Hawaiian language, culture, and history are encouraged to apply. It is the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
