Eastern Region Korean American Scholarship provides financial assistance to Korean American students from any state who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field at a school in eastern states.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of any state who are 1) U.S. citizens of Korean heritage; 2) Korean citizens who have a valid visa to study in the United States; 3) citizens of any other country who are of Korean heritage and have a valid visa to study in the United States; 4) descendants of American veterans who served during the Korean War; 5) if extra funds are available, other students not of Korean heritage may qualify for scholarships.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a fulltime undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university in Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
  • High school sophomores and juniors are also eligible to apply.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, an essay, recommendations, and financial need.
