The Edward Yoshiharu Sakuma & Kay Kubo Sakuma Early Childhood Education Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students pursuing an Associate of Arts in Teaching at Leeward Community College OR a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood at the University of Hawai'i-West Oahu. Candidates should be committed to teaching in the Hawai'i public school system with preference given to renewal applicants with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference is given to renewal applicants who have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
