Requirements

This program is open to juniors enrolled in a program related to ceramics/materials science and engineering.

Applicants must submit a 500word essay on a topic that changes annually; recently, the topic related to solid-state ceramic electrolytes for energy applications.

Selection is based on the essay, extracurricular activities, a letter of recommendation from a faculty adviser, PSAT/SAT/ACT scores, and GPA (cumulative and in science courses).
