The EMRJJ Scholarship for Future Female Engineers provides financial assistance to African American female high school seniors from San Diego County, California who plan to study engineering at a college in any state. Students planning to major in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • Completed AP Calculus and or AP Physics with minimum 3.0 GPA .

  • Seeking bachelor's degree in engineering at a 4year college or university.
  • Female African American.
  • Participate in community service and school clubs and organizations.
  • Demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students planning to major in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
