The Engebretson Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2006 by the family of the late David J. Engebretson. Although Mr. Engebretson was a native of South Dakota, the scholarship is open to any U.S. citizen who meets all the criteria. Extracurricular activities during high school, including work experience, as well as any achievements or awards earned, will be considered in determining the recipient of this award. The Engebretson Foundation Scholarship is awarded yearly to a graduating high school senior.
