ESE 4-H Beef Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college students who have participated in the Eastern States Exposition 4-H beef program and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to members of 4-H who are residents of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.

Applicants must have participated in the Eastern States Exposition (the Big E) 4H Beef Program.

They must be planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college or university, professional training, a technical school, an apprenticeship program, or other postsecondary institution in any state.

Selection is based on that essay (40%), a number of years of Big E 4H beef program participation (20%), secondary school (10%), leadership experiences in 4-H, FFA, or other church and school activities (20%), honors and awards (10%).
