The Essie Elliott Scholarship provides financial assistance for undergraduate study to student members of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and the California Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (CAFCS) in southern California. Students pursuing a four-year degree in the family and consumer sciences, home economics, or a related field are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants who have been actively involved in AAFCS.
