Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors in Sonoma County, California who are planning to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state to enroll in a medical support or certificate program.
  • Applicants or their parents must have been members of the Sonoma County JACL for at least 1 year.
  • They may not have already completed a baccalaureate degree.
  • Their statement should emphasize their Japanese ancestry and/or their connection with the Asian/Japanese American community and how it has affected or impacted who they are as well as their personal goals.
