Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to high school seniors in Hawaii who are of Filipino ancestry and have an interest in the business.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors of Filipino ancestry who are graduating from high schools in Hawaii and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Applicants must have been accepted at a 2 or 4-year college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit a 1page essay describing how they expect to promote Hawaii's business community, broaden opportunities for Filipino entrepreneurs and other businesses, strengthen business links between Hawaii and the Philippines, and support the well-being of the community.

Selection is based on that essay, academic record (including SAT and/or ACT scores), awards and honors, and activities.
