The Financial Planning Association Scholarship is awarded to residents of central Ohio who are seeking a degree in a financial planning related field. Students who attend a college or university in the region and have been involved in extracurricular activities are welcome to apply.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Resident of central Ohio (Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, Union counties)

College student who has completed more than half of the hours required in the major area of study

Seeking a degree in the financial planning related field at a college or university in central Ohio

Planning to pursue a career that emphasizes the 6 steps in the financial planning process, as outlined by the CFP Board of Standards

Participate in extracurricular activities
