Fine Homebuilding KeepCraftAlive Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college students who are members of SkillsUSA and interested in preparing for a career in a construction-related field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and college students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at a community college, undergraduate program, or industry certification curricula.
  • Applicants must be interested in studying fields such as architectural drafting, carpentry, cabinetmaking, electrical and residential wiring, HVACR, masonry, plumbing, or woodworking.
  • The must be active members of SkillsUSA. Along with their application, they must submit a 300word essay on what their craft means to them, especially how they are using the personal, workplace, and technical skills they have learned through SkillsUSA to keep their craft alive.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
