Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and college students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at a community college, undergraduate program, or industry certification curricula.

Applicants must be interested in studying fields such as architectural drafting, carpentry, cabinetmaking, electrical and residential wiring, HVACR, masonry, plumbing, or woodworking.

The must be active members of SkillsUSA. Along with their application, they must submit a 300word essay on what their craft means to them, especially how they are using the personal, workplace, and technical skills they have learned through SkillsUSA to keep their craft alive.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
