Flexible Packaging Division Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) who are working on an undergraduate degree in a field related to flexible packaging.

Requirements

This program is open to SPE members enrolled full-time as undergraduates in a 4-year technology, engineering, or science program related to flexible packaging.

Preference is given to juniors and seniors who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must submit a high school and/or college transcript; a 1 to 2-page statement telling why they are applying for the scholarship, their qualifications, and how their study of plastics will contribute to their immediate and/or long-range career goals; their employment history; a list of current and past school activities and community activities and honors; and an essay detailing their experience in flexible packaging (courses taken, research conducted, or jobs held).

Membership in the SPE is free but is required to apply.
