The Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship is available to students who reside in Florida and are seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree from a state institution. Students who participate in community service and enroll in at least 3 credits in a Career and Technical Education program are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their strong academic standing.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Minimum SAT reading score of 24, writing and language 25, and math 24 or minimum ACT reading score of 19, English 17, and math 19
  • Resident of Florida
  • Graduating senior from a high school in Florida
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Enrolled in at least 6 nonremedial semester credit hours
  • Planning to attend school in Florida
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Complete 30 hours of community service or 100 hours of paid work experience during the term of the award
