Floyd J. Clingenpeel Scholarship provides financial assistance to West Virginia residents who are enrolled in an accredited architectural program at a school in any state and can demonstrate excellence in sustainable architecture.

Requirements

This program is open to West Virginia residents who are at least juniors in an accredited architectural program in any state.

Students working on a master's degree are also eligible.

Applicants must submit a cover letter explaining their reasons for applying, professional goals, and reasons for which they feel they would be deserving of this scholarship.

Semifinalists are invited to appear before the selection committee and present a portfolio of architectural projects.

This scholarship is awarded to applicants who demonstrate their ability to develop project concepts utilizing sustainable principles, alternative energy systems, or new technologies for environmental systems in an integrated manner.
