Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who have participated in athletics and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have been a member of a sports team at their school or are currently involved in an after-school or community-based sports program.

Applicants must be planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited 4-year college or university in any state.

They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

In the selection process, emphasis is placed on applicants who embody good sportsmanship and strong moral character, display academic excellence, are passionate and committed to empowering the community in which they live, are confident and enthusiastic about being a leader, come from diverse backgrounds, and display the attributes of a Foot Locker Scholar Athlete of being proactive and highly motivated, inspiring and charismatic, genuine, and strong and courageous.

The highestranked applicant receives the Ken C. Hicks Scholarship.
