Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate Scholarship provides financial assistance to 4-H members in Texas who are interested in studying agriculture or life science at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating seniors at high schools in Texas who have been actively participating in 4-H and plan to enroll full-time at a 4-year college or university in the state to major in agriculture or life science.

Applicants must rank in the upper half of their class, have minimum scores of 950 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT, and have taken and passed all other standardized tests necessary for graduation and admittance to the college or university of their choice.

Selection is based on 4H experience and narratives (50%), GPA (5%), SAT/ACT score (23%), financial need (12%), and a personal interview (10%).

U.S. citizenship is required.
